Sustainable design for a cooler tomorrow

Wooden fence with a butterfly house and lush green plants

Kim Cotter

Do you struggle with climate change anxiety but don’t know what to do about it? A great place to start is in your own backyard. I can help you design a garden that will support local ecosystems and foster climate resilience.

My designs consider:

  • Native Plants

  • Pollinator Support

  • Rain Harvesting

  • Soil Health

  • Erosion Control

  • Regenerative Practices

  • Edible Landscaping

  • Curb Appeal

  • Year-round interest

My priority is to transform the garden that you have into a flourishing sanctuary for people and wildlife. To achieve that, I build backyard ecosystems from plants, primarily native, that serve your garden’s functional and ecological needs. Together, we will craft a space that’s perfectly balanced between ecologically-diverse habitat and private oasis.

I recognize the ongoing history of colonialism and displacement, and honor the enduring relationship between Indigenous people and this land. I am committed to supporting Indigenous communities and their priorities in the future.
